Horses 101 2008

August 21 & 22  

5-7 pm

 		 
 
This year students will learn:
The facts about some different horse breeds 
How to write a funny horse story
How to maintain a horses living area
How to assemble a bridle/hackamore
The proper way to clean tack
A private riding lesson scheduled for the following week
Cost: $55
Including a $25 deposit which will hold your child's place in class.
Discounts are given for bringing a friend or for multiple child families.
Classes are available for students ages 7 and up.  Class size is limited to 6 students.
 
If your child has taken a previous Horses 101 Class, the material in the 2008 Edition will be new.

Wondering where the name “Flyers” came from?  Growing up around horses, we spent many a day riding.  One of my favorite things to do was ride Trixie.  Sometimes, as she was running like the wind, I would lean over her mane and reach my arms out, like the girl in the logo.  It felt like I was flying; just the horse and I in the world.  Time stood still.  I know there are kids as well as adults out there that want to experience and learn more about the great and wonderful animal, the horse of course.
